We’re heading out tomorrow for our holiday in Ireland and there are a million things to be done. Naturally writing a quick post here seems far more satisfying than more cleaning and more packing.
I finished three pages of diary comics since the last time I wrote you and I drew a bonus non-diary comic because I got a silly idea in my head and couldn’t stop thinking about it.
Bee and I went to Zermatt to spend a few days with friends - perfectly timed to let us avoid a heatwave in Fribourg while we were gone! While there, we were roped into a surprise hike and an elderflower heist. I remain very much “the indoorsy type” but Zermatt was beautiful and we had a great time - lots of good food, laughs, and incredible views.
The second comic came about when I realized I had settled into a whole new weird habit this summer: cola in a mug when I wake up on hot days instead of a coffee or tea. It’s just a dumb little thing that made me giggle (and a fun excuse to draw the cats being themselves). It really is all about the mug!
The third comic is a reminder to myself of all the little (and big) things I have in the works right now and a nudge to remember how quickly things can come crashing down. Important to be patient!
And a non-diary comic! T-rex and the Fatal Fondue Party:
I hope your juggling is going smoothly, your heists successful, and your arms long enough to reach the fondue!
Hugs,
K
These are great, you delinquent! I think Abe might have nightmares about the caffeine comic. And I've never felt more bad for a T-Rex than learning they can never know the joy of a good fondue. I suppose, unless they have a friend to help out, but who wants to get that close to those teeth?!
